The Role

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and performance-driven CRM Marketing Analyst to support the end-to-end execution of email and SMS campaigns across the customer lifecycle. This role is responsible for building, deploying, and optimizing CRM communications that drive engagement, retention, and revenue.

 

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience executing campaigns within a modern marketing automation platform and is comfortable working with personalization tools and analytics to improve campaign performance. This role collaborates closely with marketing, digital operations, analytics, and design teams to deliver impactful customer communications.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Campaign Execution

  • Build and deploy email and SMS campaigns end-to-end within Dotdigital.
  • Manage campaign setup including segmentation, dynamic content, QA, scheduling, and deployment.
  • Coordinate campaign assets including copy, creative, links, and tracking parameters.
  • Ensure campaigns are properly tested across devices, inboxes, and platforms before launch.

 

Lifecycle & Journey Management

  • Execute and maintain automated lifecycle programs including welcome, onboarding, re-engagement, browse abandonment, and reorder reminders.
  • Support journey orchestration within Dotdigital to ensure consistent and personalized customer experiences.


Personalization & Dynamic Content

  • Implement personalized email experiences using Movable Ink.
  • Manage dynamic content modules, behavioral triggers, and contextual messaging.
  • Support testing and optimization of personalized content to improve engagement and conversion.


Testing & Optimization

  • Execute A/B testing across subject lines, messaging, creative, and send time.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement and conversion.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Track campaign performance using Google Analytics and CRM reporting dashboards.
  • Monitor key CRM metrics including engagement, conversion rate, revenue attribution, and list growth.
  • Prepare performance summaries and insights for marketing and digital teams.


Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure campaigns comply with email and SMS marketing regulations including CAN-SPAM and TCPA.
  • Maintain best practices for deliverability, list hygiene, and audience suppression management.

Basic Requirements

 

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience in CRM, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing within retail, ecommerce, or health and wellness.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying campaigns within a marketing automation platform.
  • End-to-end experience executing email and SMS campaigns including QA and testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and familiarity with email performance metrics and optimization strategies.

Preferred

  • Experience using Dotdigital or a comparable ESP.
  • Experience implementing dynamic email content through Movable Ink.
  • Experience analyzing campaign performance using Google Analytics.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email editing.
  • Experience in health and wellness, nutraceuticals, or medical marketing is preferred but not required.
  • B2B and DTC marketing experience is a plus — familiarity with both practitioner-facing and consumer-facing campaign strategies is highly valued.

Compensation

 

The current range for this hybrid position (3 days/week in-office) based out of Jersey City, NJ is $84,011/yr. to $99,098/yr.

 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  

 

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
