The Role

 

Metagenics is seeking an Associate Manager, Digital Media (TikTok Shop) to lead strategy, activation, and optimization across TikTok’s commerce ecosystem. This role will own TikTok Shop media execution and promotional strategy, ensuring alignment with broader paid media, amazon, influencer, and CRM initiatives. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience scaling a TikTok Shop business and a deep understanding of creator commerce, paid amplification, and content trends on the platform.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

What you’ll do:

 

TikTok Media Activation

  • Lead TikTok paid media planning and execution, optimizing for awareness, conversion, and ROAS goals.
  • Manage budgets, pacing, and performance reporting for TikTok campaigns.
  • Test and scale creative variations, audiences, and placements using data-driven insights.

 

TikTok Shop Strategy & Optimization

  • Partner with Brand Experience/ content Director to develop TikTok Strategy.
  • Develop and manage TikTok Shop promotional calendar, ensuring alignment with DTC and Amazon channel offers.
  • Oversee day-to-day shop maintenance (catalog updates, pricing accuracy, tagging, product feeds, and PDP enhancements).
  • Partner with internal creative and merchandising teams to ensure product pages and assets reflect brand storytelling and conversion best practices.
  • Continuously refine product selection, bundles, and merchandising based on analytics and trends.

 

Creator & Content Activation

  • Coordinate creator partnerships in collaboration with the internal creative and influencer teams.
  • Identify top-performing creators and content types for paid amplification and affiliate integration.
  • Support campaign storytelling by linking creator content to TikTok Shop conversion paths.

 

Cross-Channel Integration & Insights

  • Ensure TikTok media and shop activations align with broader digital campaigns (CRM, Paid Social, Amazon, DTC).
  • Monitor TikTok trends, commerce innovations, and algorithm changes to keep the brand on the leading edge.
  • Deliver actionable insights and performance summaries to internal stakeholders.

Basic Requirements

 

Experience / Training / Education

 

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience with a focus on social commerce, preferably within CPG, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle industries.
  • Proven track record of scaling TikTok Shop sales and driving measurable growth through paid and organic strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with TikTok Ads Manager, creator marketplace tools, and TikTok Shop backend.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills—able to translate data into creative, actionable strategies.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and project management skills.
  • Passion for short-form content, creator culture, and staying ahead of emerging trends.

Compensation

 

The current range for this hybrid position (3 days/week in-office) based out of Hudson County, NJ is $108,000/yr to $135,000/yr.

 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  

 

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
