The Role

Metagenics is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Site Merchandiser to support the execution of our digital merchandising strategy. This role focuses on content management, campaign execution, and performance monitoring across metagenics.com, ensuring an engaging and conversion-ready shopping experience. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, has strong organizational skills, and is eager to grow within ecommerce merchandising.

 

Content & Campaign Execution

  • Build and update product detail pages, category pages, and campaign landing pages using Contentful.
  • Upload, organize, and maintain assets in Frontify (DAM) and export/manage creative assets from Figma.
  • Update product information and assets in the InRiver PIM.
  • Publish and QA homepage refreshes, seasonal promotions, and subscription offers.

 

Site Maintenance & QA

  • Action tickets for site fixes, enhancements, and updates in Jira and Wrike.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) for accuracy, brand consistency, and ADA compliance.
  • Support SOP development for merchandising processes to ensure consistency and scalability.

Performance Monitoring & Insights

  • Monitor WTD/MTD/YTD performance trends (traffic, conversion, engagement) via GA4 and internal dashboards.
  • Support the Digital Analytics team in enhancing merchandising reports (e.g., sell-through rates, category performance, inventory insights).
  • Provide observations and insights to inform strategy and campaign decisions.

Collaboration & Growth

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, UX, Content, and Digital Operations to execute campaigns.
  • Assist in developing SOPs and onboarding materials for merchandising processes.
  • Participate in stretch projects to expand skills and progress toward a Site Merchandiser role.

Basic Requirements

 

Experience / Training / Education

  • 3–5 years’ experience in site merchandising, ecommerce operations, or digital content management.
  • Proficiency in CMS platforms (Contentful preferred).
  • Familiarity with Figma, DAM systems (Frontify preferred), and PIM tools (InRiver preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Skills/Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and adapting to changing needs.
  • Basic knowledge of GA4, Hotjar, and website-building best practices preferred.

Compensation

 

The current range for this role based out of New Jersey is $68,000/yr. to $76,000/yr. 

 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  

 

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
