The Role

We are seeking a strategic and creative Director, Content Strategy & Brand Experience to drive the development of compelling brand narratives and content strategies that elevate our brand, product positioning, and engage key consumer and healthcare professional (HCP) audiences. This role requires deep expertise in brand marketing, content creation, and integrated communication strategies that influence decision-making and enhance brand perception.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Brand Experience & Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute brand experience initiatives that enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty through the digital content journey.
  • Lead integrated marketing efforts that align brand storytelling with product positioning across key channels.
  • Ensure seamless alignment and consistency of brand messaging and execution across touchpoints for consumer and HCP audiences.

Content Strategy & Development

  • Create and oversee execution of content strategy that supports brand differentiation and reinforces product value and maximizes audience engagement.
  • Create content that builds a connection with customers & consumers, improves engagement, and drives efficiency of spend. 
  • Develop engaging, multi-format content tailored to both consumer and HCP segments, ensuring clarity, impact, and brand consistency.
  • Own the North America editorial content calendar aligned to Brand and HCP marketing strategy. Create, plan, write and edit content calendar for a wide range of projects, such as questionnaires, webinars, surveys, websites, blogs, social media, emails, digital ads, videos, case studies, infographics, brochures, white paper, event collateral, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Lead the internal content and creative team, partner with external creative teams, agencies, and internal stakeholders to produce high-quality content assets in alignment with the content strategy & activity calendar. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product marketing, communications, regulatory, and sales teams to align content strategy with business objectives.
  • Translate complex product and healthcare concepts into compelling storytelling that resonates with target audiences.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and industry influencers to expand brand reach.

Basic Requirements

 

Experience/Training/Education

  • 10+ years of experience in brand marketing, content strategy, and product positioning, ideally within consumer and HCP-focused industries.
  • Strong track record in developing and executing brand campaigns across digital, social, and traditional media channels.
  • Demonstrated ability and understanding of digital marketing reporting systems including Google Analytics, Google Keyword Tool, Data Studio and BI Tools (Microsoft Power BI desired but not mandatory), is highly regarded. 
  • Proven ability to develop and manage content programs through the entire project lifecycle, including strategy, planning, execution, reporting, and maintenance
  • Experience working in healthcare, pharma, or consumer wellness industries is preferred.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in brand storytelling, content creation, and integrated communications.
  • Ability to craft messaging tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity, emotional connection, and strategic impact.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to optimizing content performance.

Compensation

 

The current range for this role in New Jersey, NJ is $170,000/yr. to $200,000/yr.

 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  

 

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
