The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality service to our customers by processing their orders in an accurate and timely manner.  This employee must have two years experience in customer service, have demonstrated expanded problem solving skills, and be proficient in the following areas.


What you'll do: 

  • Responsible for promoting positive customer relations with customers and co-workers by using good interpersonal communication/comprehension skills
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Finesse database menus to process customer orders and research accounting inquiries.  (Must also be able to process the preceding requests manually using the appropriate forms.)
  • Up-sell monthly specials and introduce new products
  • Process literature orders and seminar registrations per customer requests.
  • Process orders and returns accurately and in a timely manner with less than 1% error rate
  • Process retail orders on the on-line store
  • Process credit requests accurately and within company guidelines
  • Support team members by sharing information that improves customer service
  • Attend company nutrition classes to gain basic product knowledge
  • Update address changes or other customer information in Finesse
  • Attend bi-monthly Customer Service meetings
  • Share collateral department assignments as directed by the Supervisor/Manager
  • Investigate and trace delayed shipments
  • Assist the Metagenics outside sales rep with the management and service of their accounts

What you'll need:


Experience / Training / Education 

  • 1-2 years’ experience in retail sales or customer service field
  • Prefer ACD experience
  • Bilingual in English and French required!

Knowledge of: 

  • Windows software


  • Skilled in use of computer/keyboard
  • Compassionate and empathetic
  • Proven ability to solve problems
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail
