    Position overview


    This role would be responsible for the Salesforce Effectiveness & Agility efforts at Metagenics. This person will manage a team that will be responsible for all Salesforce deployment activities including: Systems and Support, Sales Structure, Process improvement, Incentive development and measurement, and collaboration with training team on Talent Development.


    Essential Functions


    • Development and product ownership of (CRM) within the digital strategy scrum team.
    • Develop, lead, and implement analytical and statistical analysis to help drive strategic initiatives with the senior leadership team.
    • Manage sales reporting, territory analytics, sales compensation analysis and effectiveness, and sales territory indexing.
    • Develop automation initiatives leading to sales funnel development, customer tracking, and lead generation in collaboration with Marketing.
    • Develop and deliver upon a best in class customer experience in collaboration with the Customer Care team.
    • Develop account planning and provide customer insights that lead to a generation of new customers, and expansion of our current customer base.
    • Streamline and improve new customer on-boarding including e-commerce, and experience management.
    • Leverage relationships with Brand Teams and Senior Management, and collaborate with other stakeholders to increase visibility/of Salesforce effectiveness across the organization.


    Position Requirements


    Those who will qualify for this position must have process oriented, exceptional communication skills, and strong analytical capabilities and have the ability to be a proactive agent for change.


    • 8-10 years of experience in sales, sales management or marketing and
    • Life Sciences industry experience strongly preferred
    • Experience working with internal Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service teams
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written which are customer focused and provide clear direction.
    • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to address many different audiences.
    • Excellent organizational skills and time management; ability to manage diverse range of simultaneous projects. 
    • Strong analytical and field insight skills.
    • Customer focused -- customer service with a focus on the impact that Sales and Marketing Operations processes and analytics have on our internal customers.
    • Very strong proficiency of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Strong knowledge of relevant healthcare industry data/information resources.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers and customers.


    What you’ll need


    Successful performance in this position requires an individual who is proactive, inquisitive, and can manage projects/vendors while thriving in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. The Manager/Sr. Manager, Salesforce Effectiveness should have exemplary verbal and written communication skills, require little supervision, and should have a solid understanding of the available data sources within Metagenics. This position will provide field perspective and analytics to internal teams such as Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service. Finally, this person should know how to form relationships and ultimately have the interpersonal skills necessary to influence others without authority.



    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • MBA or Master's degree preferred in Business Administration, Science or other healthcare relevant disciplines
    • Sales Force Effectiveness Certification strongly preferred
