    Position Overview:

     

    We are looking for a competitive sales representative who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment. The sales rep will act as the key link between our company and healthcare practitioner achieving sales targets. As an outside sales professional, your goal is to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s products and services to maximize sales growth.

     

    Desired location:  Los Angeles/Ventura County

    Territory:  Thousand Oaks/Woodland Hills

    Travel:  Module trainings, Sales Meetings, Company trainings, Trade shows, etc...

    Responsibilities

    What You'll Do:

    • Partnering with doctors to recommend our products and services utilizing effective sales skills
    • Assessing clients’ needs and present suitable products or services
    • Providing product information and resources to grow the doctors nutritional practice
    • Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions, trade shows and corporate events
    • Build positive long term relationships with customers by providing an excellent customer experience
    • Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage
    • Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback
    • Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up-to-date with industry
    • Find and develop new customers to grow territory sales
    • Must be able to drive to and from practitioner offices to perform sales calls
    • A strong communicator and collaborator and work effectively with all members of the organization, from individual contributors to top execs

    What You'll Need:

     

    Experience / Training / Education 

    • Successful work experience with a minimum of five years in an outside sales position
    • Some experience in functional or traditional medicine preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree required

    Skills/Abilities 

    • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas
    • Strong presentation capabilities
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills
    • Highly motivated and target driven
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability and willingness to learn products and industry-specific knowledge
    • Ability to travel by car and/or plane frequently

    Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

     

    • Stands and walks to other stations and departments throughout the day
    • Uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment most of the day
    • May stoop or crouch to access files or storage
    • Requires clear vision at 20 inches or less with or without corrective lenses
    • Hearing and speech within normal ranges and sufficient for clear communication face to face and especially via the telephone
    • Lifts up to10 pounds regularly; lifts 25 pounds occasionally
    • Exposed to noise levels typical of office environments

    Mental and Reasoning Requirements:

     

    • Uses critical thinking skills to work with documents and spreadsheets and interpret information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Able to review complex documents like contracts and leases. Able to review quantitative and qualitative work and identify questionable items
    • Expert problem-solving and data-analysis skills
    • Able to set goals based on available information and to plan work in order to meet deadlines
    • Able to formulate appropriate responses to requests for data, services and information from internal or external customers with a wide range of personalities and demeanors
    • Able to project likely future occurrences based on current or historical data
    • Able to work independently and react quickly to changing priorities with a consistent sense of urgency
