    Responsibilities

     

    Position overview:

     

    The Digital Marketing Manager assumes full responsibility for managing the social media and email campaign strategy and tactical execution for the Metagenics brand. The Digital Marketing Manager has strong project analysis skills and a passion for building brand recognition and placement using digital medium.  Under the direction of the Creative Services Director, this individual will play a primary role in ensuring a current and consistent presence of Metagenics across multiple social platforms.

     

    What you’ll do:

     

    • Develop the strategy for digital marketing in support of the corporate strategic objectives and marketing strategy, including growing the number of practitioner customers, growing existing practitioner business with patient centric campaigns and retaining existing business
    • Assume product owner responsibilities for digital, setting the vision of what you wish to build, conveying that vision to the team and prioritizing the backlog
    • Develop the appropriate tactical plans necessary to execute the digital marketing strategy, including regular execution outside of standard business hours
    • Assume total responsibility for the management of digital marketing, specifically emails and social media for Metagenics North America
    • Plan, measure, and manage the digital campaigns
    • Track KPIs, ROIs on various social media and email initiatives. Make recommendations to improve/test/refine these deliverables
    • Work with the creative team to generate Marcom campaigns through SEO, social media, social influencers, blogs, emails, and other vehicles for both practitioners and patients
    • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content
    • Manage the master calendar for digital media
    • Work collaboratively with Category Management to identify upcoming product launch/campaign deliverables and align digital campaign accordingly
    • Manage expenses and digital budgets to maintain efficient investments in marketing tactics
    • Work with Digital Content and Marcom teams on creation of deliverables 
    • Manage Content Management team in executing social media
    • Always be learning about social and digital marketing “best practices”

    What you’ll need:

     

    Experience/Training/Education

    ·         3+ years of eCommerce experience

    ·         Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

    ·         Project management

    ·         Training or experience in managing profit centers and budgets

     

    Knowledge of

    • Strong understanding of eCommerce marketing, website analytics
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.), and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

     

    Skills/Abilities

     

    ·         Ability to manage eCommerce initiatives; process oriented and passionate about details, finishing projects with a deadline

    ·         Experience creating, executing, and evaluating online marketing campaigns including email, search/SEO, advertising

    ·         Experience with online media buying and campaign analysis

    ·         Ability to handle multiple projects at once

    ·         Ability to work independently, handle self-driven projects efficiently

    ·         Highly organized with strong analytical skills

    ·         Clear and concise communication skills

    ·         Strong understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to marketing

    ·         Ability to take direction and work autonomously

       

     

      

     

    Physical requirements/working conditions:

     

    • Sits at a computer station, meeting table, or work desk for more than two-thirds of each day
    • Stands and walks to other stations and departments throughout the day
    • Uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment most of the day
    • May stoop or crouch to access files or storage
    • Requires clear vision at 20 inches or less with or without corrective lenses
    • Hearing and speech within normal ranges and sufficient for clear communication face to face and especially via the telephone
    • Lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; lifts 25 pounds occasionally
    • Exposed to noise levels typical of office environments

    • Uses critical thinking skills to work with documents and spreadsheets and interpret information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; able to review complex documents like contracts and leases; able to review quantitative and qualitative work and identify questionable items
