    Responsibilities

     

    The Product Manager assumes full responsibility for growing the sales and profitability of digital platforms for the Metagenics portfolio. This role requires a candidate who has demonstrated the ability to lead the creation and execution of ecommerce, online marketing and sales initiatives to support digital growth. The Product Manager has strong project management skills and is the leader in creating, coordinating and executing the strategies and tactics for digital development, digital marketing and e-commerce stores. This position is broad in its scope, in that it directs and coordinates the product development, market research, market analysis, planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.

     

    What You'll Do:

    • Develop and champion product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned digital portfolio by working with cross-functional (business and technology) teams to determine alignment with corporate strategy, functional plans, revenue objectives and user needs
    • Understands consumer needs, identifies market opportunity, defines the vision, and leads the team to deliver world-class digital experiences
    • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Customer service organizations to develop competitive platform analysis, strategies and programs to help combat the competition
    • Conduct market research on digital trends and assume the responsibility for the creation of new platforms and apps, to stay ahead of the competition and provide the customer with the best in health care nutrition
    • Build, maintain and prioritize product roadmaps with input from the right stakeholders
    • Collaborate with analytics and experience design teams to understand user behavior and turn them into requirements
    • Define and analyze metrics to evaluate the outcome of project launches
    • Prioritize a backlog for a dedicated scrum team and report back to the organization on team performance.
    • Facilitate project execution and provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders
    • Manage a small team in executing the following:
      • Test quality and functionality of all Metagenics digital products and features
      • Web Analytics

    What You'll Need:

     

    Experience / Training / Education

    • 2-4 years of Product Management Experience
    • 3-5 years of web/ecommerce experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • Agile Project management
    • Training or experience in managing profit centers and budgets

     

    Knowledge of

     

    • Strong understanding of ecommerce marketing and website analytics

     

    Skills/Abilities

     

    • Strong analytical skills. Able to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues.
    • Experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
    • An understanding of responsive web architecture and mobile landscape
    • Ability to manage ecommerce initiatives. Process oriented and passion for details, finishing projects with a deadline
    • Experience creating, executing and evaluating online marketing campaigns including email, search/SEO, advertising
    • Experience with online media buying and campaign analysis
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at once
    • Ability to work independently, handle self-driven projects efficiently
    • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
    • Clear and concise communication skills
    • Ability to take direction and work autonomously

    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

     

    • Sits at a computer station, meeting table or work desk for more than two-thirds of each day
    • Stands and walks to other stations and departments throughout the day
    • Uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment most of the day
    • May stoop or crouch to access files or storage
    • Requires clear vision at 20 inches or less with or without corrective lenses
    • Hearing and speech within normal ranges and sufficient for clear communication face to face and especially via the telephone
    • Lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; lifts 25 pounds occasionally
    • Exposed to noise levels typical of office environments
